How can I update my tax code?

Taking a small taxable payment will trigger communication between us and HMRC.

Once completed, HMRC will see the tax code we hold on file, if its incorrect and HMRC hold a different tax code, HMRC will let us know via an electronic link for us to update the tax code. If HMRC does not provide an updated tax code, your tax code will remain unchanged.

We are not authorised to communicate with HMRC on a client’s behalf. If you wish to query your tax code, please reach out to HMRC.
