What does your role involve, and how does it support financial advisers day-to-day?
As Managing Director, my role spans governance, regulatory oversight, and operational leadership. I ensure robust compliance frameworks, efficient onboarding, and seamless back-office operations. For advisers, this translates into reliable infrastructure, efficient client onboarding, secure transactions, and a fully compliant platform that allows them to focus on client relationships and growth.

What I enjoy most about working with advisers is understanding the challenges they face and helping create solutions that directly enhance their efficiency and contribute to an environment where advisers can grow their businesses confidently overall.
What’s one thing advisers should know to get the most value from working with you?
Advisers get the most value from working with me when communication is open and collaborative. Delivering practical solutions that truly add value to their service requires understanding of the specific challenges they face.
What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?
‘Walk before you run’. Although I generally appreciate speed, I have gotten to understand that attempting to accelerate a complex task or automate a process before fully understanding the underlying principles usually results in structural failure. It’s important to grasp the basics and identify pain points before you scale up or increase speed.
What’s one thing you think will matter more to advisers in the next 12 months?
The same thing that always matters. Remaining competitive by providing seamless, cost-effective service to their clients all while ensuring compliance with evolving EU regulations and securing the highest protections possible for their clients’ investments.
What attracted you to financial services originally?
As an industry that was booming in Cyprus back in 2012, right after I completed my post-graduate studies, the choice was no brainer. It wasn’t so much that the industry attracted me initially, but more how I grew into the industry professionally, its dynamic, fast-paced environment and the career development opportunities I have gained over the years.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
There’s nothing better than seeing a project come to life successfully or a team you have built develop and grow over time. It is also the small wins every day, the overcoming of challenges we face from time to time and figuring out smart solutions to challenges advisers present to us.
What motivates you outside of targets and deadlines?
Building teams that operate with precision and autonomy. I take real satisfaction when the team solves a complex case without needing my intervention—it means our systems and training work. Developing people and processes that deliver lasting value is a strong personal motivator.
What’s one thing your colleagues would say you’re known for?
My colleagues would probably say I’m known for being structured and methodical. I’m really all about planning and acting in a systematic, logical way to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
If you weren’t in financial services, what would you be doing?
Probably something tactical and physical—maybe security training or emergency response. I’ve done extreme survival and tactical shooting courses in Poland, so I’d lean into that disciplined, high-stakes environment.

I’m focused on making things work efficiently, compliantly, and sustainably, so advisers can focus on their clients with confidence.
What’s the best place you’ve ever visited in the Cyprus?
My city, Limassol has my heart. One of the things I love most about it is how it combines a strong international business environment with a great lifestyle. It’s a city where you can have a fast-paced professional day and still enjoy the sea, great restaurants, and a relaxed atmosphere by the evening. The balance between career opportunities and quality of life is something that makes Limassol very special.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Driving Novia Global Europe’s next growth phase, expanding our asset universe and strengthening our position and footprint within the EU, while keeping our regulatory and operational frameworks ahead of the curve.
